I had the opportunity to enjoy 6 days of kite learning with Petar. It was an unforgettable experience for many reasons, the quality of the instructor (awesome), the equipment (brand new in almost all cases), the scenario (amazing beach in Las Terrenas), punctuality, etc. I’m already planning my next trip to keep learning from Petar!

Die beste Kiteschule! Nach wirklich einigen mühseligen Versuchen an anderen Orten, konnte ich dank Petar in diesem Urlaub richtig große Fortschritte machen. Hier merkt man einfach, dass er selbst nicht nur selbst extrem gut kitet, sondern auch fähig ist, dieses anderen zu vermitteln. Das habe ich bisher so noch nicht erlebt und ich bin mega froh, dass ich hier gelandet bin. 🙂 Dazu ist das ganze Team einfach super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns immer willkommen gefühlt und konnten uns auch außerhalb der Sessions mit jeder Frage an das Team wenden. Also absolute Herzensempfehlung.

It was a pleasure meeting Petar and Jade—they are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome and safe at all times. No worries if you don’t speak Spanish; they’ve got you covered with lessons in French and English. Petar, who has competed in international championships, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the table. He loves sharing his expertise and enthusiasm for kitesurfing. I highly recommend checking out his tutorials on his YouTube channel—no matter your skill level, a quick refresher is always helpful before hitting the water. I also suggest trying out their E-Foil—just a warning, it’s highly addictive! Whether you’re looking to relax or take your skills to the next level, they’ve got you covered.

I recently traveled to Las Terrenas to learn kitesurfing from Petar. I learn to kitesurf mostly from Youtube and follow Petar's channel because of his emphasis on being a safe kiter. My local kitespot is quite advanced with a challenging launch area, and since most accidents occur during launching and landing, it was inhibiting my progress towards becoming an independent kiter. Petar is an excellent instructor who listens to everyone, including beginner students like me. When I mentioned wanting to try something differently, he didn’t immediately dismiss me by telling me to follow his instruction. Instead, he asked what I had in mind and my thought process. Together, we would decide on the best approach, learning from each other in the process. This collaborative and respectful attitude is rare, and Petar is the only instructor I’ve had who treated me this way. I value this alot. I also enjoyed the spot where we kited. It felt local and didn't have the crowd. Las Terranas is not as famous as Cabarete but I think you cannot go wrong to try kiting at Las Terranas. And when you are there make sure to go see Petar and say hi. I am already planning my return during the windier months to kite more with Petar and progress.

I've had 5 different kite boarding instructors in my life, and Petar is by far the best. I recommend him to everyone who wants to learn more. I can really see he loves what he does.
